Description
Coinage was in short supply in New France and the historical record shows the use of "Card Money" as an early variation of writing someone a cheque. The description of the debt and a signature was often included on the back of the card.
These hand-made cards are based on a 1714 example and feature a blank back so that you can personalize your debt with a friend! Each card is hand stamped on heavy paper and colored using the same process of the time period. Every detail is there, including the notary stamp!
